   Family Day September 7, 2008

   We’ve heard it so many times (and probably said it so many times), “The family is the basic unit of society”. The problem with a phrase becoming so common is that it turns into a cliche and we get so used to it that we don’t think very hard about what it means.

   However, Childlink Learning Center fully knows the true meaning of the word; Family. Last September 7, 2008 Childlink Learning Center celebrated its Family Daty in Naga, Cebu. The event would not have been complete without the presence of our brothers and sisters from the Aeta community to whom we dedicate and share the values of our school.

   Childlink Learning Center is working as an institution to encourgae parents to be involved in the education of our children, build a brighter future for our country and to give our young people the foundation they need to make good choices and build lives of purposes. This enables families to spend quality time and emphasize the importance of a stable and loving relationship.

   The activity was very successful and well planned. It started on time, and as the day unfolded, games, fun, laughter and most of all the value of SHARING and CARING spontaneously transpired to every individual present.

   It is therefore important that we nurture an environment in the family where these values are introduced and cultured, so that the good values simply become a second nature to our children.

   To all the staff of Childlink Learning Center, CONGRATULATIONS! for a job well done. In behalf of the parents of CLC, we look forward to another exciting and meaningful FAMILY DAY this coming year 2009-2010.
